This week I've been fielding phone calls and emails about my FFS.  Actually it's something that has been happening from the start as I have been very public about my surgery, I don't think it was going to be possible not to be as everyone that knows me was able to see that it had happened.

Ok finally went to sleep about 12.45 ish, it was before 1am. I know that and I've woken up soaked in perspiration at 6.10

Considering my sleep pattern of the last few days, I record that as an improvement.

That said, as of yesterday, Thursday 4th November 2010 I am actually done!

Albeit that I have a few months of recovery and daily massage but the actual treatment process regarding FFS is complete :-) Happy happy, Joy joy.

I have been meaning to write about this for ages because I've had so many conversations regarding my facial surgery.

I am now less than three weeks away from the date. Generally i feel quite calm about the whole thing but then Dr Zukowski's preparation has been really fabulous.

• My mother knows that I'm having facial surgery. I told her a few days ago. She is upset and anxious about it and tells me repeatedly that "If I was you then I wouldn't be changing anything."

• Since having the injection I remain on calm waters.
